Orthopedic Specialist Of North Texas has chosen to provide therapy on-site with the belief that our physicians’ feel your therapy experience is absolutely critical to your recovery from injury or surgery.  By having ongoing, immediate and direct access to your physician and their personal staff, our therapists are able to seek direct counsel as well as report your progress – not by fax or by letter, but through daily face-to-face communication with your physician. No other therapist knows your physicians’ goals, timelines and protocols better than our therapists.  The result for you is a custom, personal therapy program tailored specifically to your needs, all in a specialized environment.  All members  of our physical therapy team are licensed by the Texas Physical Therapy Board and treat all common musculoskeletal conditions. Our staff specializes and has over 40 years of  orthopedic/sports medicine based physical therapy experience.

Scheduling:
In order to accommodate your busy work or school schedule, we are available to schedule patient treatments, Monday thru Friday, from 7 am - 6 pm.

If, for some reason, you cannot make your appointment, we require that you call at least 24-hours in advance. 

Our Therapists:

Sibi Daniel MSPT, OCS is an expert in manual therapy and has been recognized as a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy Specialties in 2007 by the American Physical Therapy Association. He completed his Bachelors in Physical Therapy in 2000. He received his post-professional Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. His postgraduate education in Australia focused on renowned manual therapy techniques that are currently gaining popularity in the United Stated. He has worked as a physical therapist in various settings in India, Australia, Canada and the US since graduation. While in Australia, he was the team therapist for the Melbourne Rugby Union Club and the Keilor Park Soccer Club. Sibi has worked in New York over the past five years where he was privileged to tour with professional ballet dancers and act as an adjunct instructor for the Doctorate program in Physical Therapy at SUNY Downstate. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.

 

Shelley Klement Kline, LPT graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition in 1998 and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000.

Shelley has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings, from orthopedics to hospital acute care, nursing home and home health care. She has worked at Texas Sports Therapy Center for 3 years. Shelley continues to expand her education with taking courses specific to orthopedics, focusing on joint replacements and sports-related injuries.

Shelley lives in Denton with husband, Gary, and daughter, Whitney. She enjoys running, training for races, decorating her home, and spending time with family. 

 

Laura Mangarelli-Kallenberg, LPT obtained a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology both from Texas Woman’s University

Her clinical interests are in treating patients with joint replacements, various shoulder dysfunctions, and returning patients to sports, work, and independent living.  Prior to joining the staff at Texas Sports Therapy Clinic, Laura worked in I.C.U.’s treating patients post-surgical, trauma, orthopedic, cardiac, and neurological conditions, as well as inpatient hospital care.  She continues to expand her knowledge by taking classes focused on various orthopedic and sport-specific diagnoses

Laura enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, attending concerts, running half-marathons, volunteering in her community, and watching her children play sports.

 

Cassi Cole, LPT, received her Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science in December 2004 from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. In May 2007, she went on to obtain her Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University Of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Since then, she has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has a strong interest in sports rehab and will be obtaining her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification in the near future.
